About The Position

Dash In, a member of the Wills Group family, is launching a new chef-inspired food concept within a 24/7 retail environment. They are seeking enthusiastic Team Members to join their Back of House (BOH) team to prepare delicious dishes and provide an exceptional food service experience. As a Kitchen Associate, you will be responsible for crafting meals, ensuring food safety and sanitation standards, managing prep levels, maintaining a clean and organized workstation, receiving and stocking deliveries, operating kitchen equipment, and providing a positive guest experience. This role may also involve lifting heavy containers.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED (or ability to complete company-paid GED program).
1 year of food service experience.
Flexibility to work days, nights, overnights, and weekends.
Authorized to work in the United States.
18 years of age or older.
Successful completion of background check and drug screening.

Nice To Haves

Line cook or prep cook experience preferred.
Active ServSafe certification, or a similar qualification.
Tech-savviness, including familiarity with POS software.
Excellent multitasking and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality standards.
Monitor and maintain prep levels to ensure freshness and availability.
Restock, organize, and maintain cleanliness of the prep station.
Receive and properly store delivered goods.
Maintain the overall cleanliness and appearance of the kitchen.
Connect with guests to deliver a personalized experience.
Operate various food service equipment, including deep fryers and slicers.
Lift and move large containers (e.g., five-gallon soft drink containers, 50-65 lbs) using proper techniques.
