About The Position
As a Deli Host, you will provide customer service to people from all walks of life and help maintain a clean, stocked deli area. No prior experience is required; training will be provided. The role includes answering questions about menu offerings, preparing deli products according to designated preparation guides, and maintaining food safety conditions. Team members may also cross-train in other departments, including cashiering, facility maintenance, and leadership roles.
Requirements
- Ability to move and lift more than 25 pounds.
- Ability to work in various temperatures.
Responsibilities
- Provide general customer service, answer questions about menu offerings, and address customer needs.
- Assist store cashier team members with cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars, keeping them supplied with fresh offerings throughout the shift.
- Prepare deli products according to designated preparation guides, including salads, fresh-cut fruit, cold and hot sandwiches and wraps, and parfait cups.
- Use methods and technologies to follow company policies and procedures and maintain proper food safety conditions.
- Potentially cross-train in other departments, including Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.
