Kitchen Team Member
About The Position
As a Deli Host, you will provide customer service to people from all walks of life and help maintain a clean, stocked deli area. Experience is not required; training is provided. The role involves answering questions about menu offerings, responding to customer needs, supporting cashier team members with cleaning and restocking the deli, coffee, and fountain bars, preparing deli products according to designated preparation guides, and using methods and technologies to maintain food safety and follow company policies and procedures. Team members may also cross-train in other departments, including Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.
Requirements
- Ability to move and lift more than 25 pounds.
- Ability to work in various temperatures.
Responsibilities
- Provide general customer service, answer questions about menu offerings, and address customer needs.
- Assist store cashier team members with cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars, keeping them stocked with fresh offerings throughout the shift.
- Prepare deli products according to designated preparation guides, including salads, fresh-cut fruit, cold and hot sandwiches and wraps, and parfait cups.
- Use methods and technologies to maintain proper food safety conditions and follow company policies and procedures.
- Potentially cross-train in other departments, including Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.
