About The Position

This is a production-style kitchen focused on preparing fresh grab-and-go food items for airport travelers. The role is centered around prep, batching, portioning, labeling, and maintaining food safety and quality standards — not traditional restaurant line cooking.

Requirements

Experience in food handling, food service, or restaurant environments is advantageous
Familiarity with culinary techniques such as knife skills, meal preparation, and cooking methods is beneficial
Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper sanitation practices is highly valued
Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail and safety standards

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
Exposure to catering or large-scale meal preparation environments can enhance your application

Responsibilities

Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, mixing, and assembling ingredients according to established recipes and menu specifications
Support cooking activities by following safety protocols and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area
Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, handling, and sanitation practices to meet food safety standards
Participate in menu planning discussions and contribute ideas for new dishes or improvements to existing offerings
Serve food efficiently and courteously during meal service, ensuring timely delivery and presentation
Maintain organized workstations, including cleaning utensils, equipment, and work surfaces regularly
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and uphold high standards of quality and safety
