About The Position

This role involves supervising kitchen operations during assigned shifts, preparing and presenting menu items according to brand standards, and maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen environment. The position also includes essential support tasks such as dishwashing, sanitizing work areas, and taking out trash and recycling. The Kitchen Supervisor is responsible for ensuring food quality, portion control, and consistency, and will assist with inventory, ordering, and receiving products. Support for banquet cooking and prep is also a part of the role, working closely with the F&B Manager/Chef to ensure smooth kitchen operations and upholding all Marriott and Four Points brand standards.

Requirements

  • Previous culinary experience required.
  • Ability to thrive in a small, one-person kitchen operation.
  • Willingness to perform all BOH tasks, including dishwashing and cleaning.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and professionalism.
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible hours.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

  • Hotel kitchen experience a plus.
  • Food Safety Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
