About The Position

As a Chef de Partie with the Pastry Department, you will have the opportunity to create luscious desserts and breads that are both appealing to the eye and the palate. If baking with a great team within a high-paced, steady changing industry is of an interest to you, then we have room for you here at Nemacolin Resort.

Requirements

  • Must be able to work flexible hours, weekends, holidays, etc
  • Must be able to speak English
  • Minimum of two (2) years in pastry field
  • Must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively

Nice To Haves

  • Must possess a degree from a post-secondary culinary arts training program desirable

Responsibilities

  • Supervises and assists in production of all food items
  • Supervises all prep par lists
  • Supervises portion sizes
  • Assist Sous Chef in all aspects of ordering
  • Create menu specials and report to Sous Chef
  • Supervise and assist in sanitation of kitchen and all walk in areas
