About The Position

We are seeking experienced Kitchen Staff to join our team at Nola's Creole & Cocktails in Tulsa, OK. This is a full-time position with flexible shifts. The role involves assisting in food preparation, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, ensuring food safety, and working collaboratively with the kitchen team to prepare orders accurately and efficiently. Responsibilities also include dishwashing, stocking supplies, receiving deliveries, and adhering to all health and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Understanding of hygiene and food safety rules
• Good time management and multitasking skills
• Reliability and punctuality
• Must be at least sixteen years old
• Must successfully complete restaurant training program
• Must have current/valid Food Handlers permit from Tulsa Health Department
• Prolonged periods of standing and working in a kitchen environment
• Must be able to lift up to 30–50 pounds
• Ability to work in hot, fast-paced conditions
• Frequent bending, lifting, and reaching

Nice To Haves

• Previous kitchen or food service experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Assists in the preparation of food items according to recipes and restaurant standards
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations and equipment
• Ensures all food is properly stored, labeled, and handled in accordance with food safety guidelines
• Works with kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate order preparation
• Cleans and sanitizes dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment as needed
• Stocks and restocks kitchen supplies and ingredients
• Assists with receiving and storing deliveries
• Follows all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area
• Performs other related duties as assigned
