About The Position

Responsible for servicing and maintaining refrigeration systems and ice machines. Responsible for servicing and maintaining various types of kitchen equipment including steam, electric, gas, food preparation, ware washing and disposal equipment. Responsible for reporting all equipment and fixture errors to Management. Respond to various emergencies throughout the facility. Maintain supply inventories and maintenance logs for all assigned areas. Responsible for all other duties as assigned by area and Management. Will assist all other trades and crafts with routine and emergency work assignments.

Requirements

• Minimum of five (5) years commercial or industrial Journeyman experience in one or more of the following areas: installation, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of various types of kitchen equipment including steam, electric and gas cooking, food preparation, ware washing and disposal equipment, beverage systems and/or refrigeration.
• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a 4 year accredited apprenticeship program.
• Clear and concise communication skills in the English language to communicate to all levels of the organization.
• Ability to read, understand and work from blueprints, drawings, schematics and sketches.
• Proficient in the safe use of all trade related hand and power tools, safety and protective equipment.
• Ability to respond immediately to all emergency situations and calls.
• Ability to assist other trades as needed.
• Valid Driver's License is required and must be obtained before entering this position.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.

Nice To Haves

• A valid EPA Universal Refrigeration Certification is strongly preferred.
