Requirements

  • Proven experience in food production, cooking, or culinary roles within a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated supervising experience with a strong background in kitchen management or hospitality management.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and dietary regulations.
  • Familiarity with restaurant or catering operations, including shift management and food handling procedures.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills with an emphasis on hospitality excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate all aspects of production, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality dishes that meet safety and hygiene standards.
  • Oversee food preparation processes, including cooking, portioning, plating, and presentation to uphold brand consistency.
  • Manage kitchen staff schedules, assign tasks efficiently, and monitor performance to maintain productivity and morale.
  • Enforce strict food safety protocols and sanitation procedures in compliance with health regulations.
  • Collaborate with management to develop menus, optimize kitchen workflows, and control inventory levels for ingredients and supplies.
  • Provide training and mentorship to team members on culinary techniques, food handling, customer service standards, and safety practices.
  • Ensure smooth shift management by coordinating between front-of-house and back-of-house teams to deliver seamless service experiences.
