About The Position
JARS Cannabis is seeking a reliable and adaptable Kitchen Production Float to support their high-volume production team. This role offers hands-on experience in packaging, production, and prep within a fast-paced food production environment, with a main focus on gummies and edibles making. The ideal candidate will be dependable and detail-oriented.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in food production, specifically gummy/candy-making environment
- Basic math skills for scaling recipes and measuring ingredients
- SERV Safe Food Handler's Card (required)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/sit for 8-10 hours
- Reliable transportation
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- English required
Nice To Haves
- 1-2 years of experience making cannabis edibles (preferred)
- AZDHS Facility Agent Card (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Perform duties across kitchen stations and consistently meet production quotas
- Operate commercial kitchen equipment (ovens, mixers, scales, packaging machines)
- Heavy focus on gummy and candy making
- Maintain high sanitation, hygiene, and safety standards
- Accurately document production data and follow all SOPs and recipes
- Support additional tasks as assigned by supervisors or managers
