About The Position
This position will work primarily out of our commissary kitchen but will be on call from the kitchen. The role involves kitchen prep and production, packing truck with delivery items, checking and confirming delivery items, and making deliveries in and around Chicago. It also includes basic food prep, portioning a variety of food items, and preparing meals for service at schools.
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Applicant must be reliable, punctual, presentable, as well as attention to detail and timeliness.
- Fluent in English (bi-lingual in Spanish a plus)
- Strong communication skills
Nice To Haves
- SafeServ certification is a bonus
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation requirements preferable
