Over 75 years ago, Buddy's Pizza was founded in Detroit, MI, becoming the birthplace of Detroit-Style Pizza, known for its iconic square shape and crunchy, cheesy corner slices. Starting from one location, Buddy's has expanded to over 20 locations and is now growing throughout the mid-west. The company is seeking individuals who are passionate about food and providing high-level experiences to guests. The Prep Teams are crucial for delivering a great dining experience by preparing Buddy’s award-winning dough to specific standards, ensuring high-quality products are produced quickly and efficiently for guests. The items prepared by this role are essential to more than half of the menu items, making adherence to Buddy’s specifications critical.

Requirements

High energy working to keep up with the pace of the restaurant and the team
Dependable team player with successful record of work attendance
Ability to listen and communicate effectively
Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time
Ability to reach, lift, bend and carry heavy objects
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must always adhere to Buddy’s uniform policy and standards
Flexibility to work varied shifts including nights and weekends
Follow health and safety guidelines
Must be able to read food orders rung into the kitchen
Must be able to lift 40 pounds comfortably
