About The Position

Position Summary: The Kitchen Manager is responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, ensuring food quality, safety, and efficiency while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. This role manages kitchen staff, oversees inventory and ordering, ensures compliance with health and safety regulations, and works closely with operations leadership to maintain a high standard of service during events and daily operations.

Requirements

  • Previous kitchen leadership or management experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage inventory, ordering, and food cost control
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and event-based schedules

Nice To Haves

  • Food Handler Certification
  • ServSafe Manager Certification (or ability to obtain)

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure food is prepared to company standards
  • Supervise, train, and support kitchen staff
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment
  • Ensure compliance with all health department and food safety regulations
  • Manage food inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships
  • Monitor food costs, portion control, and waste management
  • Assist with menu execution and ensure consistency in food quality
  • Coordinate with management and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service during events
  • Create and manage kitchen schedules based on operational needs
