About The Position
Tigg's Canteen Services is looking to hire a Permanent Full-Time Kitchen Manager for Tuscola County Jail in Caro, Michigan. This leadership position in Food Service requires integrity, a positive can-do attitude, strong character, and the ability to work in a structured environment. The role involves leading, instructing, and assisting with meal preparations, including food preparation, baking, cooking, and clean-up.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays on a rotating basis.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts - days and hours (between 9:00 am - 6:00 pm)
- Clearance approval into the facility
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

- Previous food service or kitchen experience
Responsibilities
- Lead, instruct, and assist with meal preparations including food preparation, baking, cooking, and clean-up.
- Read and follow company recipes.
