This is a performance-based growth path position at Steve's Hot Dogs. The company hires for potential and trains for excellence. The role begins as an hourly team member to learn the company's operations from the ground up, with a clear, accelerated roadmap to transition into a Shift Manager role based on demonstrated mastery of stations and culture. The philosophy is that one cannot lead a team until they have experienced the roles themselves. The training is divided into three phases: Phase 1 involves learning every station (Kitchen, FOH, Bar) as a regular staff member. Phase 2 includes 1-on-1 mentorship and fast-track operational training while working the floor. Phase 3 is the promotion to Shift Manager upon demonstrating mastery of all stations, reliability, and the ability to motivate the team.
