About The Position
Frothy Monkey is hiring a Kitchen Manager for our Downtown Nashville, Tennessee location! We are looking for a skilled leader with experience managing high-volume kitchens with 3 meal-parts. We use fresh, quality ingredients to prepare original food and drink, served in a cozy and approachable atmosphere. We focus on an exceptional breakfast-through-dinner experience for our guests, 7 days a week, 363 days a year. Frothy Monkey offers an inclusive and creative workplace. Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in Kitchen Management in a high-volume, from-scratch kitchen.
- Ability to track and effectively manage cost of goods and services.
- Track record of development of staff
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
Responsibilities
- A proven ability to mentor, motivate, and guide a team to success
- Effectively build trust with team members and management by providing clear and honest communication and feedback
- Responsible for directing the day-to-day operation of the kitchen
- Monitor quality standards for preparation, presentation, and sanitation
- Partner with the General Manager on staff scheduling and labor control
- Promote consistent adherence to recipes and portion guidelines
- Conduct regular food quality and presentation checks to maintain high standards
- Ensure overall cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and storage areas
- Managing inventory, controlling costs, and driving profitability
- Uphold all local, state, and federal regulations, including food safety and health codes.
