About The Position

The Kitchen Manager has a huge impact on the lives of residents and on the overall culture of the community. This position is an invaluable part of the Still Hopes family and is a job for people who love food and are natural leaders! Responsible for overseeing the back of the house. The Kitchen Manager will direct and assist in the preparation, serving documentation and planning of regular meals for our Healthcare Residents and staff in accordance with regulatory standards and guidelines. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service management, with a passion for delivering high-quality meals in a healthcare setting. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can ensure compliance with dietary regulations, maintain food safety standards, and lead a team of kitchen staff.

Responsibilities

Menu Planning: Develop nutritious and well-balanced menus that meet the dietary needs of our residents.
Food Preparation: Oversee the preparation and cooking of meals according to specified recipes and portion sizes.
Inventory Management: Monitor food inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain stock levels.
Staff Supervision: Train, schedule, and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to food safety and sanitation procedures.
Budget Management: Control food and labor costs within budgetary guidelines.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and dietary guidelines.
