Responsibilities

  • Uphold food quality standards through regular testing for consistency and quality.
  • Implement best practices to minimize food waste.
  • Problem-solve food inconsistencies and educate staff on common fixes.
  • Conduct regular inventory.
  • Assist with prep list adjustments and edits.
  • Oversee kitchen ordering and submit food and kitchen supply orders.
  • Assist with new menu item roll-out.
  • Develop and translate recipe builds in conjunction with the executive team.
  • Acquire a deep knowledge of menus, including ingredients, plating, and allergens.
  • Implement company-wide policies, procedures, and standards of operation.
  • Oversee and maintain safety and sanitation standards.
  • Proactively monitor labor costs with executive team assistance.
  • Oversee and actively participate in kitchen service.
  • Create back-of-the-house schedules considering labor costs and employee performance.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to oversee kitchen maintenance and repair.
  • Collaborate with kitchen leadership and other CRG departments to ensure compliance, effective operations, and growth.
  • Supervise the BOH team.
  • Lead training, performance management, and discipline of the BOH team.
  • Practice accountability.
  • Coach staff and role model effective leadership.
