About The Position

Applebee’s is hiring Kitchen Managers who take pride in great food, strong execution, and leading winning teams. As Kitchen Manager, you’ll oversee back-of-house operations, support food quality and safety, and help create the welcoming neighborhood experience Applebee’s is known for. This role is perfect for a hands-on leader who enjoys coaching teams, staying organized, and keeping the kitchen running smoothly in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • 1–3+ years of kitchen leadership or restaurant management experience
  • Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen operations
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations including food preparation, quality, and consistency.
  • Train, coach, and develop BOH team members.
  • Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met.
  • Manage inventory and food costs.
  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness and equipment.
  • Partner with restaurant leadership to deliver a great guest experience every shift.
