About The Position

Tigg's Canteen Services is hiring a permanent, full-time Kitchen Manager at Crawford County Jail in Grayling, Michigan. The role involves working in a structured correctional environment and leading, instructing, and assisting with meal preparation, including food preparation, baking, cooking, and cleanup. The position starts at $21.00 per hour and includes a benefit package.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work well in a structured correctional environment.
• Ability to read and follow company recipes.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts and days between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
• Clearance approval into the facility.

Nice To Haves

• Previous food service or kitchen experience; training may be provided to the right person.
