About The Position

This is a Kitchen Helper position at Liberty High School, working 3.75 hours per day on a 10-month calendar. Internal classified employees are not eligible to apply during their probationary period. A Food Handler Card is required, and a link is provided for certification. The general duties include handling food items, assisting with serving, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness.

Requirements

High school diploma or its equivalent
Proficient oral and written communication skills in English
Proficient in the use of computer and Internet based applications, including but not limited to email and systems applications
Hold a valid Food Handler certification
Knowledge of sanitation standards and chemical use in the kitchen

Nice To Haves

Spanish or Vietnamese language assessment (for bilingual stipend)
