About The Position

National Star Services, a 28-year-old facility management company with nationwide services, is seeking Kitchen Helpers for its Des Plaines, IL 60018 location. This role is part of a team that creates high-end products for hundreds of international airline guests daily.

Requirements

• Must have two updated valid forms of IDs.
• Must be bilingual (Speak English & Spanish).
• Need to have and wear slip-resistant shoes at work.
• Have reliable transportation to get to and from work.
• Must be able to start working as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

• Assist chefs and cooks with kitchen tasks, including food preparation, cutting fruits and vegetables, preparing small dishes, food plating, and setting up airline catering trays.
• Read, understand, and follow menu specifications.
• Keep kitchen areas clean and tidy.
• Comply with hygiene, quality, and safety standards at all times.
