About The Position
Hall & Prior Health & Aged Care Group is a family-owned aged care provider operating 42 residential aged care homes, in home support services and retirement living across WA, NSW, ACT and Qld. We believe that our commitment to providing high quality care can make a real difference to the lives of our consumers and their families. This is an exciting opportunity for a Casual Kitchen Hand at our 95-bed Fairfield aged care home. This role supports smooth kitchen operations to ensure residents have a positive dining experience.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Kitchen Hand in residential aged care
- Understanding of texture modified foods
- Organised, able to work in a busy kitchen and meet deadlines
- Strong customer service skills
- NDIS Worker Screening Check and Influenza vaccination (or willing to obtain)
- Working rights in Australia (sponsorship will not be offered)
Responsibilities
- Assist with the food preparation of nutritious meals that meet individual dietary needs and choices
- Maintain a safe and hygienic environment through cleaning and safe food storage
- Assist with food service while providing respectful and efficient customer service
