About The Position

Chick-fil-A Tampa Stadium is looking for an assertive and growth-minded Kitchen Director to join their leadership team. This is a hands-on operational leadership role designed for someone who wants to build a long-term career with one of the most respected brands in the nation while helping lead a high-volume, rapidly growing restaurant. This is not a “clipboard manager” position. The ideal candidate enjoys being in the operation, developing people, solving problems in real time, and helping build systems that support long-term growth. Chick-fil-A Tampa Stadium is experiencing rapid growth while maintaining strong guest experience and operational standards. The leadership team invests heavily in mentorship, continuing education, leadership development, team celebrations, and creating a culture where people genuinely enjoy coming to work. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in high-volume operations, enjoys leading from the front, and wants to help build high-performing teams focused on accountability and excellence. As Kitchen Director, you will play a major role in strengthening Back of House operations, developing future leaders, maintaining food quality and safety standards, and helping support the continued growth of one of the top-performing Chick-fil-A restaurants in the Tampa market.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of restaurant leadership experience required
  • Back of House leadership experience strongly preferred
  • Previous Chick-fil-A experience highly preferred
  • Experience leading teams in fast-paced environments
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Passion for hospitality, operational excellence, and people development
  • Growth mindset with a desire for long-term leadership development
  • Ability to thrive in a high-performance culture
  • Must have basic understanding of all kitchen operations

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily Back of House operations in a high-volume Chick-fil-A restaurant
  • Deliver operational excellence while maintaining remarkable food quality and food safety standards
  • Build and develop high-performance kitchen teams
  • Coach and mentor future leaders within the Back of House
  • Help create a positive, people-first culture focused on accountability and excellence
  • Manage inventory systems, food cost controls, and waste reduction initiatives
  • Maintain strong kitchen organization, cleanliness, and compliance standards
  • Collaborate closely with Executive Director McSanders and the leadership team to support continued restaurant growth
  • Help scale leadership systems and operational infrastructure as the business continues growing rapidly
