About The Position

The Kitchen Cleaner is responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen environment. This role involves cleaning and sanitizing all kitchen surfaces, equipment, utensils, and storage areas. The position requires adherence to all safety, health, and sanitation regulations, as well as company policies. The Kitchen Cleaner will also assist with inventory, deep cleaning projects, and communicate with kitchen staff and management to ensure high standards of cleanliness are met.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques and proper use of cleaning chemicals.
  • Must have flexibility including evenings, weekends, holiday shifts, and overtime when needed.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Gaming License.

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ year experience in commercial kitchen cleaning role preferred.
  • Hotel experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, including countertops, floors, walls, and shelves.
  • Wash and disinfect kitchen equipment, such as ovens, stoves, grills, fryers, refrigerators, and dishwashing areas.
  • Clean and sanitize all utensils and cooking tools after use, ensuring they are stored in a clean and safe manner.
  • Sweep and mop floors to maintain cleanliness and prevent slips and falls.
  • Empty trash bins regularly and ensure waste is disposed of properly.
  • Assist with maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies, reporting shortages to the supervisor.
  • Clean and sanitize food storage areas, ensuring all food items are properly stored and free from contamination.
  • Adhere to all safety, health, and sanitation regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Assist with deep cleaning projects during off-hours or when required.
  • Follow procedures for handling hazardous materials and cleaning chemicals safely.
  • Communicate with kitchen staff and management to ensure cleanliness standards are met and address any issues.
  • Maintain and comply with department and company policies and regulations.
  • Abide with company grooming policy.
  • Always maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Participate in all mandatory departmental and companywide events and meetings.
  • Understand and execute AAA service standards.
