About The Position

Kitchen Tune-Up is hiring an experienced In-Home Sales Consultant for our Northern New Jersey territory. We sell mid-to-high-end kitchen and bath remodeling — refacing, redooring, full custom kitchens, full bath remodels, tub-to-shower conversions, and aging-in-place upgrades. This role is built for experienced K&B closers who want qualified leads, real income protection, and a back-office that lets you focus on selling — not drafting. Our in-house design team handles drawings on your behalf. You sell — they design. In-house, factory-trained installers protect your reputation. A customer financing program, including 0% promotional options, boosts close rates and ticket size. You will receive qualified, exclusive leads that are pre-screened for budget, timeline, and decision-maker. These leads are yours alone, never shared. Top reps produce $2M+ annually, earning $180,000+ in commission. There is a 60-day draw against commission while you ramp up. Kitchens and baths sell year-round, so there is no seasonality. We sell in Glen Ridge, Montclair, West Orange, Livingston, Cedar Grove, wider Essex County, and surrounding affluent communities.

Requirements

In-home sales experience in kitchen & bath, remodeling, or comparable home improvement category — required
One-call-close mentality with proven track record
Comfortable presenting and closing tickets from $20K to $100K+
Strong negotiator, persistent follow-up, confident presenting financing
Professional presence — you'll be in clients' homes
Reliable transportation, smartphone, basic computer skills
Available days, with some evenings and weekend appointments

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with design tools (20-20, ProKitchen, etc.) preferred but not required — our designers handle the drawings

Responsibilities

Run 5 to 7 in-home consultations per week with qualified, pre-screened homeowners
Present financing options, ask for the order, follow up until you close
Hand off design specs to our in-house designers, who handle drawings and revisions
Coordinate with the project manager on clean product orders
Walk the job with our in-house installers before work starts and stay engaged through completion
Build a referral pipeline with designers, contractors, builders, and real estate partners
Hold a minimum 30% close rate
