About The Position

Kensington School is seeking a Kitchen Attendant for its early childhood center. In this role, you will manage the kitchen, ensuring cleanliness and smooth operation, and deliver meals to classrooms. Your responsibilities will include collecting dishes after meal service and washing, rinsing, and sanitizing them for the next meal. This position is central to the school's daily operations, supporting teachers and children.

Requirements

• Experience working around food allergies/dietary restrictions.
• Must love children!
• 95% of this job is dishwashing.
• This position is 100% on your feet.
• Must complete a physical, including immunization record.
• Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
• Must pass a state of Illinois background check.
• Must have a ServeSafe training certificate, manager certification preferred.

Nice To Haves

• ServeSafe manager certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the kitchen, ensuring it is clean and runs smoothly.
• Deliver meals to each classroom.
• Collect all dishes after meal service.
• Wash, rinse, and sanitize all dishes until ready for the next meal service.
