About The Position

This is a part-time role for a Kitchen Assistant/Assistant Chef at Hormel Foods. The position involves working independently and as part of a crew to provide buffet-style service for company functions. Responsibilities include setup, cleanup, dishwashing, some advanced home-style food preparation, serving, grocery shopping, and interacting with internal and external customers. The role also requires expediting meals independently in the absence of the corporate chef.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Works on a part time basis, independently and as part of a crew, for buffet-style service for Hormel Foods functions including setup and clean up/dishwashing, with some advanced home style food preparation, serving, grocery shopping and interacting with internal and external customers.

Benefits

• Base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range.
• The base hiring pay range for this role is between $12.00-$16.75 per hour, and your actual base pay within that range will depend upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skill set, level of experience, and geographic market location.
