That being said: We’re here to serve kids and make sure they are in the safest environment possible while having the time of their lives. The Kitchen and Operations team at JCC Ranch Camp is essential to the camp experience, ensuring campers and staff receive nourishing meals in a safe and inclusive environment. As a member of the Kitchen and Operations Staff, you’ll assist with food preparation, maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas, and uphold kosher and allergen management practices. Additionally, you will support camp operations by assisting with camper laundry and light housekeeping tasks, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment throughout camp. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in both kitchen and operations while being part of a vibrant summer camp community. All our staff work in tandem with Camp’s Supervisory Team to ensure the positive resolution of all potential issues and challenges that might come up with regard to the kitchen, food preparation, housekeeping, laundry, and personnel. Finally, all staff must be able to attend Staff Orientations and be available to live at camp, or be available for full-time kitchen coverage, for the summer season from mid-May to mid-August. This role has the flexibility to work in our shoulder seasons as well in late-April, May, August, September, and October.
