About The Position

Step into the spotlight at Kisbee on the Roof—Denver’s premier rooftop destination—where skyline views and unforgettable vibes set the scene. We’re seeking a high-energy, guest-focused Seasonal Rooftop Host/Hostess to lead the flow of rooftop service and elevate every guest experience from the moment they arrive. In this role, you’ll be the first face guests see—welcoming them with warmth, managing seating and reservations, and setting the tone for an exceptional visit. You’ll coordinate the flow of the lounge and rooftop, assist with cabana sales and setups, and ensure every detail is in place for a seamless and memorable experience. From maintaining a clean and inviting environment to supporting overall operations, you’ll play a key role in keeping the rooftop running smoothly. Our ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced, outdoor environments, brings a passion for hospitality, and knows how to create standout first impressions while keeping the energy high. Requirements

  • Knowledge of bar and lounge operations preferred, but not required.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, follow directions, and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexible schedule with availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Prior experience in a bar or hospitality setting preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods and perform light physical tasks.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage reservations and seating arrangements.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests with a friendly smile and assist with seating arrangements in the lounge bar area.
  • Provide guests with menus and communicate promotions, seasonal offerings, and general bar knowledge.
  • Monitor lounge activity to determine seating availability and manage guest flow efficiently.
  • Utilize the reservation system to manage reservations, update seating charts, and assist with inquiries.
  • Perform opening and closing duties, including cleaning, restocking, and preparing the lounge for service.
  • Assist with side work, such as folding silverware and maintaining cleanliness in the lounge area.
  • Respond promptly and courteously to guest inquiries and resolve any immediate concerns.
  • Answer telephone calls, handle reservations, and transfer calls as necessary.
  • Work collaboratively with team members and other departments during special events or peak service periods.
  • Thank guests as they leave, invite them to return, and relay guest feedback to the manager on duty.
  • Ensure compliance with dress code and maintain a high standard of personal appearance and grooming.
