Building Bridges is seeking someone who will work with several of our departments: 11th Street Bridge Park – As an operations driver, they will be responsible for safely transporting our mobile kiosk (a cargo van with a trailer) to designated locations in Washington DC within a specific timeframe over the course of two business days (Saturdays and Sundays). The driver will adhere to traffic laws, perform pre-trip vehicle inspections, follow assigned routes, and maintain clear communication with 11th Street Bridge Park and business owner or other team members. At the market, they will assist the business owner with set up and sales as requested. THEARC Farm – As Farm Assistant, they will be assisting the Deputy Farm Director with weeding, planting and other maintenance tasks on Wednesdays and Thursdays. On Fridays, they will assist with harvest and directing volunteers, and with set up, operations and break down of our free farmers market called Food and Farm Fridays. Facilities – As Facilities Technician, they will provide general support as a member of the facilities team.
