Kinship Specialist
About The Position
Average hourly is $23.49 (including wage, incentives, bonuses, overtime, shift differential, etc.). This position is largely in the field, but is classified as in office or hybrid. Remote is not an option. Texas Family Initiative LLC has the job for you! We are looking for full-time Kinship Specialists to add to our team! All you need is a bachelor’s degree in social service field with a minimum of two years of experience in child welfare or managed care required. We will teach you the rest! As a Kinship Specialist you will provide support to Case Managers working with children and families to help ensure that children can safely thrive in their home environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in social service field
- Minimum of two years of experience in child welfare or managed care
- Compassionate, eager to learn, and who wants to help families in times of crisis to build on their strengths for healthy, long-lasting relationships by connecting them with community resources to improve their lives.
- Desire to help children grow, learn, and build healthy families
- Strong desire to advocate for children and their families!
Responsibilities
- Provide support to Case Managers working with children and families to help ensure that children can safely thrive in their home environments.
