Wayfinder Family Services is dedicated to supporting vulnerable children, youth, and adults facing challenges such as disabilities, homelessness, and abuse. The Kinship Support Services Program provides navigation services for individuals raising children who are not their own, including those who step up voluntarily or with agency assistance. The program offers counseling, basic needs assistance, support groups, workshops, and respite resources, aiming to create more stable kinship families and maintain family connections for better long-term outcomes. The Kinship Navigator I's primary role is to offer family support and case management to these kinship families, developing and coordinating service plans, assessing needs, and connecting families with available resources.
