About The Position
Sanford Health, the largest rural health system in the United States, is dedicated to transforming the health care experience and providing access to world-class health care in America’s heartland. This role is for a Licensed fixed wing pilot who is assigned and oriented to Sanford Air Transport. The pilot is responsible for flying King Air fixed wing flight missions requested by Sanford.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2,000 fixed-wing flight hours.
- 250 multi-engine hours required.
- Must meet instrument currency requirements listed in FAR 61.57(c) or current company instrument proficiency check.
- Possess a current Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Commercial Certificate with Multi-Engine Land and instrument rating.
- Possess a current second class medical certificate.
Nice To Haves
- Previous Part 135 experience preferred.
- Turbine time desired.
Responsibilities
- Comply with applicable Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations.
- Demonstrate skills and experience as a pilot.
- Be directly responsible for all operations pertaining to the safe efficient conduct of the flight from initial dispatch until termination of the flight.
- Maintain a good working knowledge of the company Operations Manual, Federal Aviation Regulations, Operations Specifications, Aircraft Flight Manual, and any other requirements pertinent to specific flights.
- Demonstrate interdisciplinary skills when working with team members.
- Utilize effective critical thinking skills to problem solve and immediately respond to changing environments.
- Maintain a weight of 240 pounds or less when fully dressed in uniform.
- Share on-call and vacation coverage shifts.
Benefits
- Salary Range: $49.50 - $81.50
