About The Position

We are seeking a motivated CNC oxy/plasma machine operator. The operator will set up and operate use overhead crane to load/unload steel plates, verify finished product meets specifications, and maintain a clean and safe work area. Requirements

• Experienced operating CNC plasma and oxy machines
• Ability to interpret CAD drawings, symbols and notes
• Ability to read tape measure to within 1/16”
• Experience with overhead crane
• Ability to stand for a prolonged period of time

Responsibilities

• Select correct machine settings for optimal cutting operations
• Measure materials to assure accuracy with design specifications
• Select correct material type, stock size and dimensions
• Keep work area clean and organized
• Keep accurate record of daily operations and material usage
• Set up and operate CNC oxy/plasma machine
• Use overhead crane to load/unload steel plates
• Verify finished product meets specifications
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
