KINESIOLOGIST We're looking for a passionate Kinesiologist to provide in-home and community-based rehab services in Halifax and the Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM). In this role, you will be working with individuals recovering from injuries, surgeries or chronic conditions to restore function and mobility and regain confidence in their daily lives. The ideal candidate is registered with the Kinesiology Association of Nova Scotia or Canadian Kinesiology Alliance, has experience working with complex orthopedic trauma, post-concussive autonomic pacing, chronic pain, and progressive work/ADL re-conditioning, and enjoys collaborating within a delegated multidisciplinary team. You have exemplary attention to detail and have strong written communication skills needed to prepare reports to support your clients recovery goals. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology
  • Membership with the Kinesiology Association of Nova Scotia (KANS) or the Canadian Kinesiology Alliance (CKA)
  • Professional Liability Insurance
  • Valid Class 5 Drivers License with access to a vehicle
  • Smartphone with a data plan
  • Criminal Record & Vulnerable Sector Check (completed within the last 3 months)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with complex orthopedic trauma
  • Experience with post-concussive autonomic pacing
  • Experience with chronic pain
  • Experience with progressive work/ADL re-conditioning

Responsibilities
