About Lifemark Physiotherapy View Royal, located in Victoria, BC. Our Lifemark Physiotherapy View Royal clinic is centrally located in beautiful Victoria, British Columbia, with ample on-site parking and a spacious, bright rehabilitation gym and private treatment rooms. Our team is composed of registered physiotherapists, occupational therapists, kinesiologists, psychologists, physicians, massage therapists, acupuncturists, and our amazing administration staff. As a Kinesiologist in our Customized Recovery and Return-To-Work Program, you will play a key role in assisting those impacted by injury through their individual recovery process. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive, individualized care that supports recovery and a successful return to work and daily functioning. In addition to working with the WorkSafe BC rehab program, you will have the opportunity to participate in other work streams such as FCEs, Community services and Veterans Rehabilitation services. Your impact This position will provide the opportunity to work collaboratively with a team of clinicians, as well as provide exposure to complex occupational rehab cases. Our KINs provide both individual and program-based treatments and assessments for individuals recovering from motor vehicle accidents and workplace injuries. They also play a pivotal role in supporting veterans, Canadian Armed Forces members, first responders, and individuals facing physical, cognitive and mental wellness goals. In this role, you will: Perform biomechanical, fitness, and functional assessments under the mentorship and direction of a physiotherapist. Design, implement and supervise graded exercise, work conditioning and/or work hardening programs. Utilize e-charting software to document client sessions; submit reports to stakeholders promptly. Work cooperatively with clients to set and achieve functional goals. Complete functional components of reports for initial, progress and discharge. Ensure return-to-work plans with the client and employer have been made and documented in the client's chart.
