About The Position

Venture Online is an online program serving the evolving needs of 21st-century students. The Kindergarten Teacher will serve as a Teacher of Record (TOR), supervising students in Kindergarten and collaborating with parents on goal setting, curriculum and lesson planning, and reviewing student learning. The role also includes reporting attendance, creating student portfolios, providing assessments, monitoring student budgets and placing appropriate purchase orders, creating report cards, assigning grades and units, and creating course descriptions.

Candidates must reside in Riverside, Orange, San Diego, San Bernardino, or Los Angeles County. A virtual assessment is part of the selection process. Upon hire, the employee may be placed in multiple charters, which could have tax implications. Springs Charter Schools follows applicable state and local health and safety guidelines. Requirements

• Valid California Preliminary or Clear Multiple Subject teaching credential; a Clear credential is preferred.
• Valid CLAD certification.
• Reside in Riverside, Orange, San Diego, San Bernardino, or Los Angeles County.

Nice To Haves

• Experience teaching English Language Arts is strongly preferred.
• Prior online teaching experience is preferred.
