About The Position
Kindergarten Teacher at Smith Elementary. Helena Public Schools aims to foster dynamic educational experiences that prepare all students for life. This position serves a 187-day contract, scheduled for 7 hours a day. The starting base salary range is $52,275-$70,833, based on education and experience, in addition to a competitive benefit plan. The role involves teaching district-approved curriculum, developing lesson plans and instructional materials, and providing individualized and small group instruction to adapt the curriculum to the needs of each pupil.
Requirements
- Montana teaching certificate with the appropriate endorsement.
- At least a year of successful teaching experience at the elementary school level.
- Ability to travel to other buildings.
- Ability to meet multiple demands from several people.
- Ability to interact with the public and other staff.
- Successfully complete the appropriate background check required for employment.
