The Kindergarten Teacher at West Ada School District is responsible for supporting and guiding students toward the fulfillment of their intellectual, emotional, social, and academic potential through high-quality instruction aligned with District curriculum and educational standards. The teacher works under the direction of the School Principal and receives instructional guidance from the Dean of Student Achievement, as well as support from District-level staff. This role involves planning, implementing, and delivering instruction, developing lesson plans, using various teaching strategies, and creating a positive classroom environment. The teacher will assess student learning, administer assessments, adapt instruction for diverse learners, and communicate with parents and staff. Additionally, the role includes supervising aides, maintaining records, following safety procedures, and performing other duties as assigned by the principal.
