About The Position

The Kindergarten Teacher will meet and instruct assigned classes in the locations and at times designated. They will develop and maintain a classroom environment conducive to effective learning within the limits of available resources, and encourage students to set and maintain standards of classroom behavior. The teacher will employ a variety of instructional techniques and media, take reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities, and evaluate student progress. This role also involves assisting in upholding school rules, administrative regulations, and Board policy, as well as assisting in the selection of instructional materials. A key aspect of this position is working to establish and maintain open lines of communication with students and their parents regarding academic and behavioral progress. The teacher is also expected to perform all other reasonably assigned duties.

  • Work to establish and maintain open lines of communication with students and their parents concerning student academic and behavioral progress.
  • Perform all other reasonable assigned duties.
