About The Position

Craneville Elementary School is seeking a Kindergarten Teacher for the anticipated 2026-2027 school year. Requirements

Massachusetts teacher certifiable in elementary education, grades K – 2
Knowledge of MA Curriculum frameworks, curriculum, instruction, and assessment
Ability to work with a diverse population

Responsibilities

Effective planning and assessment of curriculum and instruction.
Establishing and adjusting instructional goals and objectives to reflect district/school goals, curriculum policies, and student needs.
Designing lessons that foster problem-solving, creativity, and communication skills.
Establishing and maintaining standards for social and emotional learning consistent with CASEL standards.
Committing to ongoing professional development in content area and pedagogy.
Planning learning activities to address individual differences among students.
Developing, administering, and evaluating quality formative and summative assessments.
Monitoring and evaluating students’ progress in relation to learning goals.
Encouraging, securing, and maintaining the involvement of families and other community members in support of instruction.
Effectively collaborating with department and grade level teachers.
Utilizing equitable teaching and learning resources and practices.
Performing other duties as assigned.
