About The Position

Regina Caeli Academy (www.rcahybrid.org) is seeking a part-time Kindergarten Classroom Teacher for a classical and Catholic classroom. This position is for approximately 13 hours per week during the 2026-2027 academic year, located in Jacksonville, FL. It is an in-person, on-site role. No teaching certification or formal teaching experience is required, as training will be provided. Standard computer skills, ideally with Google Suite, are a plus. The ideal candidate may have experience in homeschooling, working with homeschool children, parish ministry, teaching Religious Education or Catechism, teaching their own children, or teaching in a classical or private school, though these are not required. RCA is a national organization offering tutoring in a Socratic classroom setting on Mondays and Thursdays. Positions are hourly, with childcare/nursery provided for staff. No additional vacation days are given, though accommodations are made for sick days. Applicants must be able to sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church and demonstrate a deep love for the Catholic faith. Curriculum and grading guidelines will be provided, and tutors will be trained in instruction and classroom management according to RCA standards. The ideal applicant will possess strong communication skills, good organization, timeliness, a traditional view of the student/teacher relationship, and must be actively living the Catholic faith, including having received all appropriate sacraments.

Requirements
