Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education or related field
• Valid Indiana Teaching License or Certification for Elementary Education with Kindergarten Endorsement

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate student progress through formal and informal assessments, providing feedback to students and parents.
• Collaborate with colleagues, specialists, and parents to support student learning and address individual needs.
• Maintain classroom discipline and promote positive behavior through effective management strategies.
• Integrate technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices and advancements in teaching.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress, behavior, and classroom activities.
• Contribute to the school community through participation in staff meetings, committees, and school events.
