About The Position

KidStrong Head Coaches deliver the KidStrong curriculum and create fun, engaging experiences for children from crawling age through 11 years old. The role focuses on supporting children’s cognitive, physical, and character development while building positive relationships with families and contributing to their continued engagement with the center.

The Head Coach also helps lead the team and center. Responsibilities include mentoring coaches, assisting the General Manager and Assistant General Manager with team supervision and center management, supporting community relations and events, and helping maintain the center and uphold the KidStrong brand. The position may also involve coaching camps, movie nights, parties, and other center activities.

Requirements

• Passion for working with children.
• Experience working with or coaching children from crawling age through 11 years old.
• Team lead or supervisor experience, including the ability to coach others in member service, parent communication, and workplace professionalism.
• Comfort communicating with parents and guardians.
• High energy and a clear, engaging presence in classes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to mentor other coaches.
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Deliver fun, dynamic classes that develop children’s cognitive abilities, physical skills, and character.
• Learn the KidStrong curriculum and communicate its purpose and programming to families.
• Complete Coach Certification and continue developing coaching skills through training programs.
• Create positive interactions with families before, during, and after classes.
• Ensure classes run smoothly and on time.
• Keep families engaged and excited about KidStrong.
• Coach classes, camps, movie nights, and other activities requested by center leaders.
• Mentor other coaches and model strong performance, communication, and professionalism.
• Assist the General Manager and Assistant General Manager with supervising the team, improving community relations, managing the center, and upholding the KidStrong brand.
• Assist with community events and center initiatives.
• Participate in the upkeep and maintenance of the center.
