Kids Zone Team Member (Mornings 8am-2pm & Weekends)
About The Position
We're looking for energetic, caring, and responsible individuals to supervise and engage with children ages 6 weeks to 12 years in a fun, safe, and welcoming environment. This role involves ensuring the safety and enjoyment of children, interacting with parents, managing check-in/check-out, leading activities, assisting with basic care needs, and maintaining a clean and organized Kids Zone. The ideal candidate has a genuine love for children, prior childcare experience, strong communication skills, and a willingness to work flexible hours, including mornings and weekends.
Requirements
- Genuine love for working with children
- Babysitting, nannying, or other childcare experience
- Great communication skills
- Helpful attitude
- Must be at least 15 years old
- Willingness to work flexible hours (days, nights, weekends, holidays)
- On your feet and on the move—walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and stretching
- Able to jump into action whenever needed
- Comfortable working varied shifts
- Read, sign, and abide by the policies included in the Team Member Handbook
- Respond to work-related correspondence promptly
- Exhibit a positive attitude at all times
- Deliver outstanding service to members and guests, following acac’s FiveStar principles
Nice To Haves

- Know how to build a Lego castle
- High School Diploma preferred
Responsibilities
- Keep children safe, smiling, and having fun while in your care
- Greet parents and children with warmth and friendliness
- Help with check-in/check-out to ensure smooth and secure operations
- Play, imagine, read, create, and lead fun activities
- Help with snacks, bottle feeding, and diaper changes when needed
- Keep the Kids Zone clean, tidy, and toy-ready
- Maintain high energy and attentiveness
- Communicate clearly with families
- Be a team player
- Follow the Team Member Handbook
- Keep the club clean and tidy
- Join special events, fun programs, and team service days
- Respond to messages promptly
- Show up with a positive attitude
- Abide by club policies
- Park in team member designated areas
- Assist in any area of the club to keep it neat and clean
- Attend mandatory Personal Training meetings
- Assist with Service Days, as assigned by Supervisor
- Assist with club programs, special events, or activities, as assigned by Supervisor
- Respond to work-related correspondence promptly
- Exhibit a positive attitude at all times
- Deliver outstanding service to members and guests, following acac’s FiveStar principles
