About The Position

The Mystic Valley YMCA is currently seeking creative, energetic, and compassionate individuals who are passionate about working with children. In this role, staff will be responsible for engaging youth in safe, fun, and enriching activities while their caregivers utilize YMCA facilities. Candidates should be able to create a welcoming and supportive environment that encourages positive interaction, play, and age-appropriate learning experiences.

Requirements

• At least two years of experience in babysitting, childcare, teaching, or a related field
• Demonstrated ability to care for children ranging in age from 3 months to 9 years old
• Strong communication skills
• Patience
• Attentiveness

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply
• Availability for Saturday hours
• Interest in new weekday morning shifts (Monday through Wednesday, 8:45 AM to 11:45 AM)
• Additional availability beyond specified hours is highly desirable
