Kids Team Member (JAC)
About The Position
The Kids Team Member develops Christ-centered relationships with children and co-laborers and engages children through play, games, and activities. The role helps maintain order in the classroom and participates in classroom activities, including praise and worship, story and lesson time, prayer, crafts, and snacks. Ministry workers also prepare and clean up rooms, support Ministry Leadership, follow the policies and procedures in the Gateway Kids Ministry Worker’s Manual, and enthusiastically complete assigned tasks. Available areas include Birth–1’s, 2’s–3’s, Preschool, Elementary, Special Needs, and Check-In.
Responsibilities
- Develop Christ-centered relationships with children and co-laborers.
- Interact with children through play, games, and activities.
- Assist in maintaining order within the classroom.
- Participate in classroom activities, including praise and worship, story and lesson time, and prayer.
- Assist children during classroom activities such as crafts and snacks.
- Support Ministry Leadership.
- Adhere to the policies and procedures outlined in the Gateway Kids Ministry Worker’s Manual.
- Complete tasks and assignments enthusiastically.
- Participate in room preparation and cleanup, praise and worship, prayer, lesson activities, and craft time.
