About The Position
YSS is looking for energetic, caring, and dependable Kids Club Program Assistants to work at Roland-Story Elementary School. In this part-time role, you will help create a safe, engaging, and fun environment for elementary-age children before school, after school, and on no-school days. Kids Club is a place where children can learn, explore, build friendships, and feel supported. As a Program Assistant, you'll lead games, help with homework, serve snacks, and be a positive role model, contributing to children's confidence, skills, and connection. This role involves welcoming children, leading activities, assisting with academics, encouraging social skills, ensuring safety and structure, serving snacks, collaborating with families and school staff, and making a difference in a child's life. Duties may change at any time.
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old.
- Must enjoy working with children.
- Must obtain CPR/First Aid certification within three months of hire.

- Previous experience looking after, caring for, or supervising children.
- Ability to connect with children.
- Be excited to come to work everyday.
- Feel comfortable helping kids with their homework.
- Have dependable transportation.
- Be committed to coming to work on time for all of their shifts.
- Speak a language(s) in addition to English.
