About The Position

The Clubs of Cordillera Ranch are looking for individuals to help create a fun and safe environment for our members’ children at our Kids Club. This part-time position requires availability to work flexible hours, including weekday mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Workers are responsible for the protection and safety of the children in their care while also providing a positive and engaging experience.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in high school or equivalent or have a high school diploma or GED.
Able to push, pull, or lift up to 20 pounds.
Excellent communication skills; able to speak, write, and read proper English.
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Experience working with children is required.
Must be at least 16 years of age at the time of hiring.
Must have experience working with children, or in a role of responsibility.
Excellent people skills and a friendly, responsible, service-oriented attitude.
Reliable and timely – able to arrive at work on time and remain at the Club for the duration of the shift.

Responsibilities

Assist and supervise Kids Club activities.
Create Kids Club employee schedule.
Work Kids Club 1 night a week.
Ensure the safety and good conduct of children.
Be responsible for proper care of equipment and facilities.
Maintain excellent friendly daily staff-parent/guardian relationships.
Exhibit appropriate dress and language for working with children.
Plan safe and fun activities for the children.
Display appropriate and mature behavior, serving as a role model for the children.
Provide a safe and healthy environment for the children.
Assist Fitness Director/Family Activities Director with day-to-day responsibilities, as requested.
Help develop and lead Kids Club camps for Spring Break, Summer, and Holiday breaks.
